GTA VI is still locked to November 19, with Rockstar's next reveal coming August 27

The next official GTA VI footage has a six-hour split release

Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look premieres on Netflix at 3 PM ET on August 27. Rockstar's YouTube channel and the official GTA VI website receive it at 9 PM ET that evening.

Rockstar has not published a rundown of what the presentation contains. The announcement does not promise a particular gameplay system, a multiplayer reveal or a specific runtime.

The material that is already public continues to frame GTA VI around Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, whose failed score pulls them into a criminal conspiracy spanning Leonida.

November 19 remains in Take-Two's financial calendar

Take-Two reiterated the date in its August 7 fiscal first-quarter results. The launch platforms remain PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

There is no announced PC release date. Rockstar is also not releasing the game on PS4 or Xbox One.

Buying a box does not mean buying a disc

Digital preload begins at local midnight on November 12. Rockstar is also making the boxed version available from that date so physical buyers can preload before launch.

The box contains a download code. It does not contain a game disc.

That distinction carries a regional detail on PlayStation: Rockstar lists country groups for its PS5 codes and advises buyers to match the code region to their PlayStation account. Xbox download codes are not region-locked.

Rockstar is selling two digital editions

US pricing is $79.99 for the Standard Edition and $99.99 for the Ultimate Edition. The latter adds a collection of vehicles, weapons, apparel, businesses and other content spread through Jason and Lucia's single-player story.

Standard Edition owners can buy the Ultimate Edition Upgrade separately later.

Purchases made before November 20 include the Vintage Vice City Pack. Digital preorders also include one month of GTA+.
